Reading with Coffee

About Me

My name is Jenaya, and I'm a college student pursuing a degree in English Literature. My passions include coffee, Greek Mythology, the study of superheroes, and criticizing Literature. I have done extensive research on Shakespeare's Coriolanus, and I'm hoping to be able to publish a paper on it in the relative future.

The aims of this blog is to examine, and criticize literature - media does not live in a vacuum, and the effect that literature has on people is important to understand, and dissect. Overall, it talks about literature that excites me, and leaves me wanting more. This blog tries to take a critical eye to the themes, stereotypes and issues that are in Women's literature. Not in condemnation, but in hopes of supporting them through criticism and through examination of the novels.

"Be strong, saith my heart; I am a soldier;
I have seen worse sights than this."
